Nach diesem und jenem Post war klar, dass es nicht bei nur zwei dieser wunderschönen Wickeltaschen aus den USA bleiben kann. Wer sich mal auf der Website bei Lily Jade umgesehen hat weiß, dass man sich unmöglich in nur eine dieser tollen Taschen verlieben kann. Sie sind einfach alle total umwerfend schön und perfekt durchdacht. Ich werde ständig auf meine Lily Jade-Taschen angesprochen und habe schon so viele Komplimente kassiert.
After my previous posts about my two lovely Lily Jade bags, it was no secret, that I would probably add another bag to the growing family. Has anyone visited their website and seen the lovely styles of bags they sell? It's impossible to love just one. They're all gorgous and so organized. I get asked about my Lily Jade bags a lot. Especially when they will be available in Europe. And I get so many compliments.
Und so zeige ich Euch heute die umwerfend schöne Miss Madeline von Lily Jade. Diese Tasche ist perfekt. Das Leder ist sooo weich und riecht so toll. Ich habe die Madeline - wie auch die Caroline - in der Farbe brandy. Meine absolute Lieblingsfarbe. Brandy ist lässig und passt einfach zu allem.
And so without further ado I show you the lovely Miss Madeline from Lily Jade. She's perfect in every way. The leather is so soft and smells amazing. I own the Madeline (and the Caroline too) in the color brandy. And it's hands down my favorite color. It's gorgeous, casual and goes with everything. What's not to like?
Die Madeline erfüllt alle Anforderungen, die man nur an eine Mama-Tasche haben kann. Sie sieht super aus...kein bisschen nach Wickeltasche...ich nutze sie definitiv auch ohne Kiddos und keiner merkt's. Sie hat Fächer über Fächer, die jede ordnungsliebende Mami (mich) begeistern.
The Madeline truly meets all the needs you could ever have in a mommy-bag. She looks so stylish...there's nothing babyish about this bag. I definitely use this bag when I'm out and about without my kiddos and noone would ever know. And then this bag has pockets galore, that are perfect for all organized moms.
Und last but not least: Die Madeline lässt sich - wie auch die Elizabeth - auf drei verschiedene Arten tragen. Es gibt die normalen Tragehenkel. Bei der Madeline sind sie sehr lang und sie lässt sich so bequem über der Schulter tragen. Dann gibt es selbstverständlich noch den langen, verstellbaren Schultergurt, mit der die Tasche auch crossover getragen, oder lässig über die Schulter gehängt eine super Figur macht. Und mit eben diesem Schultergurt lässt sich die Madeline in Windeseile in einen Rucksack verwandeln. Praktisch ohne Ende!
And last but not least, the Madeline - just as the Elizabeth - can be carried in three different ways. The normal straps are super long and so comfortable to wear over the shoulder. And of course there's the long strap to carry the bag across your body. The same long strap is used to convert the Madeline into a backpack. In a matter of seconds! Mom's need options and Lily Jade provides just that.
Zum Thema Fächer über Fächer: Madeline verfügt über insgesamt 20 Fächer. Yes please! Wenn man da dem Taschenchaos nicht entgegenwirken kann, dann schafft man es wohl nie. Es gibt vier Außenfächer. Ein großes Reißverschlussfach befindet sich auf der Rückseite und vorne gibt es drei offene Einsteckfächer, wobei eins sozusagen unter der Lederklappe verschwindet, die mit Magnetverschluss schließt. Diese Fächer sind endlos praktisch und sie allein würden die Madeline schon zu meiner besten Freundin machen. Aber wer Lily Jade kennt weiß, dass das ja noch längst nicht alles war.
Did I mention it has pockets galore? Madeline has 20 pockets inside and out. Yes please! If that isn't putting an end to handbag chaos, nothing will. There are four big outside pockets. On the back of the bag there's a big zippered compartment and on the front there are three open pockets and one of them actually hides under the leather flap that goes over the bag on top and Closes with a magnet. These outside pockets are so practical to keep all your mommy essentials within easy reach.
Das Hauptfach schließt mit Reißverschluss und hat darüber die erwähnte "Klappe" auf der das Lily Jade-Logo ins Leder geprägt ist. Auch auf allen Zippern ist die Lilie eingeprägt. Innen wird man dann von dem hübschen seidig roten Innenfutter begrüßt und der Baby Bag Insert überzeugt mit seinen vielen, vielen Fächern. Ich bekomme sie noch nicht mal alle voll. Aber es gibt diese Mamis da draußen, die wirklich alles außer den Einbauschränken mitnehmen. Da war ich auch schon mal. Drei Kinder später bin ich eher Minimalistin und habe meinen Minivan zum Pampers- und Klamottenlager umfunktioniert. Aber das ist ne andere Geschichte. Der Insert ist wirklich klasse und durch die Magnete lässt er sich schnell und leicht rausnehmen für Tage, an denen man ihn nicht braucht. Man könnte auch schnell den Insert in eine andere Tasche für die Oma einpacken. Die Wickelunterlage passend zur Tasche darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen.
The main compartment has a zipper closure and over the middle it has the mentioned flap closure on which the Lily Jade logo is stamped into the leather. The lily is also stamped on all Zipper pulls. On the inside you're greeted by the beautiful and super soft and shiny red lining and the Baby Bag insert will enchant you with its many, many pockets. I can't even fill them all up. But I know there are mothers who pack everything but the kitchen sink. I've been there. But 3 kids later I've become more of a minimalist and my beloved minivan has changed into a diaper changing station and closet on the go. That's another story for another day. The insert is fabulous and with the magnets it quickly snaps into the bag and out, for days when you don't need it. It could also be easily transferred into another bag for grandma to take out. Of course it also comes with the matching changing pad.
Ich liebe es, dass die Lily Jade Taschen wirklich sehr hochwertig verarbeitet sind und auch wirklich dafür gedacht sind, dass sie auch nach der Wickelzeit verwendet werden. Wer würde denn so eine tolle Tasche auch nicht mehr wollen.
I love the quality of Lily Jade bags. They're really meant to be used after the diaper changing days are over. Who wouldn't want a great bag like that?
An den Henkeln gibt es auch bei der Madeline den tollen Tassle-Anhänger mit den Jade-Perlen. Ein ganz tolles Extra, in das ich mich sowieso sofort verliebt habe.
The Madeline also comes with the beautiful tassle with the jade pearls. It's such a pretty little extra that really adds something to these bags and I've fallen in love with it.
Vom Stil ist die Madeline wohl eher lässig. Obwohl sie in schwarz vermutlich schon wieder ganz anders wirkt. Das sanfte braun und die Form machen die Tasche für mich einfach zur idealen Freizeitbegleiterin. Mit der Größe von ca. 37 x 30 x 15 cm reiht sie sich direkt bei den anderen Lily Jade-Taschen ein. Größenmäßig sind sich die Madeline und die Caroline sehr ähnlich. Am Taschenboden gibt es hier nur leider keine Füßchen. Das finde ich persönlich immer schade. Aber man kann wohl nicht alles haben.
The Madeline is more of a casual style bag. In black she might be a little more dressed up, though. The soft brown color and the shape just make this bag perfect for every day. The measurements are 14,5'' x 12'' x 6,25 ''. The Madeline and Caroline are similar size-wise. On the bottom of the bag there are no metal feet, which is probably the only thing I miss with this bag. You can't have everything I guess.
Natürlich darf auch bei der Madeline ein Dustbag nicht fehlen, was für mich bei der Lagerung einfach unersetzlich ist.
And of course a great bag like Madeline comes with a dustbag too, which is really important when you story nice bags.
